MASC

Currently, when US military personnel want to share documents between branches or departments with different levels of security clearance, they have to get the documents approved by desk officers, who subject the documents to a lengthy and opaque auditing process. ConductorAI is a startup trying to shorten the auditing process.

To address this, I helped design MASC, an auditing webapp that assists desk officers in auditing documents. MASC scans documents and surfaces existing policies, guidelines and procedures that relate to the documents, speeding up the auditing process. It also allows users to semantically search a database for relevant documents.

As the sole product designer at ConductorAI, I helped turned an existing engineering proof-of-concept into a coherent product vision. Working with the cofounders, I turned the existing proof-of-concept into polished, high-fidelity Figma prototypes to hand off to developers and present to government stakeholders. I also developed the product's visual identity, leveraging the existing Untitled UI design system and creating countless custom components.
